My name is Jenna Mayotte, and if you are a Syracuse University student, professor, or staff member, I am your business librarian. During the day I live at E.S. Bird Library, and I would love to meet you sometime, especially if you need my help with your research. You may also see me lurking (er, working) over at the beautiful Whitman School of Management, and I hope to be able to work with you all over there as well.
Things you may be interested in knowing about me include:
- I started working at Syracuse University Library in March of 2008.
- My background is in marketing, I last worked for a financial services firm that specialized in private wealth management.
- I obtained my MLS (that’s Master of Science, Library & Information Science) from the University of Illinois in 2007.
- I have also worked in marketing and communications for a non-profit utility membership organization in Washington DC that focused on encouraging the use of solar energy by member utility companies.
- I got my bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Go Blue.
- I wish I lived here… best home library ever
- I really stink at keeping up with my own blog, but I’m trying, really I am.
- I completed the 2010 Iron Girl Triathlon in Syracuse. Yeah, that’s right I did.
- I share my home with possibly the cutest (ill-behaved) dog ever (that’s CoCo, the chocolate menace, in the picture).

If you need to know anything else about me, please ask and I will be happy to share. In fact, I’ll probably over-share.
